This Victron charger inverter supports 2 AC inputs and automatically connects to the active input.
It includes a pure sine wave inverter, adaptive charging, hybrid PowerAssist technology and multiple features for integration into different systems.
Two AC inputs with integrated transfer switch
The Quattro-II can be connected to two independent AC power sources, for example to shore power or to a generator, or to two generators. It will automatically connect to the active power supply.
Two AC outlets
The main output has the “no-break” function (without interruption). The Quattro-II is responsible for supplying the connected loads in the event of a blackout or disconnection from the power grid/generator. This happens so quickly (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment continue to function without interruption. The second output is only active when one of the Quattro-II's inputs is AC powered. Devices that should not discharge the battery, such as a water heater, for example, can be connected to this output.
Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel operation
Up to 6 Quattro-II units can work in parallel.
Likewise, three-phase or split-phase operation is possible.
PowerAssist – Generator or shore power boost
This feature takes the principle of PowerControl to another dimension, allowing the Quattro-II to complement the capability of the alternative source. When peak power is required for a short period of time, as is often the case, the Quattro-II will immediately compensate for a possible lack of power from mains or generator power with battery power. When the load is reduced, the remaining power is used to recharge the battery.
Solar Power: AC power available even during a blackout
The Quattro-II can be used in photovoltaic systems, connected to the electrical network or not, and in other alternative electrical systems. It is compatible with grid-connected inverters and charge controllers.
